Unexpected Opportunity

I had plans of shooting the UC Irvine vs Stanford Women’s Soccer match on 9/11 with my friend and fellow photographer Lee. Due to misreading the game schedule we arrived at the Stanford soccer field almost three hours early. I then remembered that the Bay Area Sectional Tournament for Ultimate Frisbee was also being held at Stanford that day. We headed over to where the Ultimate games were being played but got there just as games were finishing up from the first round. After waiting about 30-45 min, the next round started and we shot the Revolver vs Boost Mobile game for a little while before heading back over to shoot the soccer game. I haven’t been shooting much because I’ve been busy with my full-time job and getting to shoot Ultimate and Soccer was a nice for a change. I also want to give a big shout-out to friend and professional photographer Michael Chen for letting us borrow some awesome gear to shoot with!
